I find the Notes About Nothing on the DVD's informative but distracting, so I turn them off the first time (usually, there have been a few exceptions though), and watch the episode alone. Then I face a dilemma, to watch them or not, because it can get annoying having notes for EVERY, SINGLE episode. Well, while I'm waiting to pick up S4, I've decided to go back and watch all of them, if the episode has commentary, I watch both, since I watched very few of the commentaries which I can't believe since I've been known to be a commentary maniac. lol. Originally for S1-2, as I'm watching the Notes I sometimes realize maybe half way into the show, "Hey, I watched this one already!" I'm a very constant guy, but with the notes, it was like doing eenie-meenie-minie mo, although I didn't use that approach lol, and I skipped around watching most of the S1-2 episodes with notes, so now the challenge is hunting around for the episodes I HAVEN'T watched the notes for yet. I have also watched some S1-2 commentaries, but a while ago, so I don't really notice that I've watched one of them already again until like 1/2 way through! Anyway, I've finished all extras on Discs 1 and 2 now, and hope to finish discs 3 and 4 this week. Then onto the season where I watched hardly no notes with the episodes, season 3.
Why do I torture myself? I feel naked in a way if I don't watch EVERYTHING, from commentaries to DVD Production credits if applicable. I feel the DVD Designer don't want me to see something. ;)
Anyone else this way?
pat (sorry this is so long-winded btw)
