In one of the episodes, Frasher and Lilith were looking for a baby sitter. Sam asked if they have asked any family members yet and Frasher said "I would ask my parents...but they're dead," but in the spin-off "Frasher" he lives with his dad. Can somebody explain that??

It's explained in the Season Two episode of "Frasier" when Sam comes to visit. Frasier introduces Sam to his family, and Sam tells Martin that Frasier had told him and everyone else that he was Dad. Needless to say, Martin is not impressed. Frasier explains that the two of them had had an argument on the phone and Martin had called him a "stuffed shirt" and hung up. Frasier, who was feeling angry, said that his father was dead. :)
I think he also told the guys at "Cheers" that his father was some kind of a scientist, or something like that.

I know I'm a hair freak, but I noticed that on the 200th ep. that Sam Malone (Ted Danson) already had a bald spot in the back of his head and that the series finale was not the first time that Diane (Shelley Long) and Rebecca (Kirstie Alley) was on the same set. Did Sam always wore a hairpiece, b/c on the ep. before the actual series finale, he said that he had on a hairpiece since Aug. 1989. Is this true?
