He hasn't done any acting since Mike Hammer in 1984, but I doubt that he's dead. I'd think we'd have heard that if he was.

None of these people are deceased. Everyone is still alive. I have a cousin and she told mu sister that "Cindy" from "The Brady Bunch" died of a drug overdose and we all know the story. It was "Buffy" from "Family Affair". I used to think that she was right because Cindy did not appear in the Brady Christmas movie back in 88'. She was too busy to participate due to her wedding and honeymoon. My cousin also refused to believe that Edith's character was killed off on AITF/ABP and I kept telling her, "I have the episode on tape. Hello!" She also did not believe that Tracy Elise Ross was Diana Ross' daughter. I told her yes it is true plus she admitted show on a talk show.

I believe he's still alive...Ben Powers did play Nell's ex on Gimme A Break! (I think in 85/86).
