Hi all! Just wanted to post this, after all Chico couldn't be as popular without his man to play his part. Today marks the 98th birthday of Mr Jack Albertson. Thank you Jack for making Ed a lovable grouch and helping "Chico" shine!:D

wow....... he would be 98....... I was very sad when Jack passed...but there was a piece of him that was gone long before that time....the light in his eyes when he looked at Freddie had long since been gone. It was easy to see he was not the same after that..... I think they truly had a special relationship and tho he was a true professional and did his best to perform, anyone who watched the show before Freddie passed, could see his heart was not in it anymore.

I also feel the same way. The light in Jack's eyes was no longer as bright.

No matter all the multitude of things "THE MAN" went through in his lifetime - what happened to Freddie surely scarred him and it showed.

But we must remember what Joy said... they are now together in the afterlife. :)

I will be forever grateful for the love that Jack showered upon Freddie during their time together...a better team there never was. They certainly had chemistry together. We love you Jack.
