Air Conditioner On all night? I have been talking to some people and they said they don;t like have the air conditioner on while they are sleep. The AC is what helps me sleep better-lol Anyone else?

Unless it is unbearably hot, I would prefer not to have the AC on when I'm sleeping. I dont get to hot just from sleeping, so I dont need it very cool, and I also take a shower in the AM so I can't be refreshed for the day without having the AC on @ night.

Yes, I love having the AC on in the summer. My window & blinds are always shut, plus I have heavy drapes that black out my room but it still gets plenty hot in my room, esp. in the summer.

I have to have the air on when i sleep...In fact we have central airconditioning so in the summer it never gets shut off.

Well, I still live with my parents so it's not my decision whether it's on all night or not. If I tell my mom it's cold and to turn it off she'll just tell me to put on a sweatshirt. I don't mind if it's on all night especially in the summer when it gets VERY hot in our upstairs where I sleep.

I can't sleep with an AC on in the bedroom. On warm nights, I put the AC on in the living room, and it makes its way into my bedroom. I have a fan on my bureau.

If I'm sleeping upstairs and its really hot, then I'll leave it on since the a/c doesn't make it to the master bedroom all that well. I want to put in a ceiling fan as I'm sure it would help.

If I'm sleeping downstairs, which I do sometimes, then I shut it off as it gets pretty cold - nice while you're sleeping, but freezing when you get up.

I rarely ever sleep with the air conditioner on, but I do sleep year round with my fan blowing on me. Whether it's winter, or Summer, it doesn't matter. My body just doesn't take to heat very well. It also helps because I can't stand silence, and the noise from the fan keeps me calm.

In fact, it was 96F in my room a few weeks ago and I didnt even care. Better than airconditioning. And I sleep in the hottest room of the house.

We don't have airconditioning. But I can't sleep anyway, so it doesn't even make a difference.

Being in the throes of menopause I have to have my bedroom cold. As of this moment it is only 65 degrees here right now but I have my window AC on full blast right now! :lol: Even in the dead of winter I have a fan going if not for the air flow but for the hum that deadens all the noise in the house inside and out!
I have to have complete darkness and no noise other than the steady hum of my fan. :D My husband tolerates my whims fortunately! :lol:

In the summer if it is over 85 all day I must have the air on or I can't sleep because I am uncomfortable.

I'm just like that and have been since elementary school. It's not easy, but I have tried sleeping without it.
