Guys,

Two classic standouts:

1.) I'll Be Waiving As You Drive Away: Many scenes too numerous to mention. But I remember in part 2 when it is decided that Mary is going to leave with Adam to teach and support the new blind school. Remember that this is also an instance where Walnut Grove faces financial ruin and Mary returns to the town to say goodbye to everyone. There is a real tear-jerker where Ms.Beetle comes into the mercantile and gives Mary the brouche that she said was given to her by her first teacher. (This is Charlette Stewart's last apperence) and you can hear her voice almost break into tears as she says good bye to her and leaves the store.

2.) The Craftsmen: I hate Albert more than anything! But this whole episode where he befriends a Jewish woodcarver moves me to tears every time.

I don't know the title but the one with the fire at the blind school and Alice and Mary & Adam's baby both die. Then the end when they'll going to rebuild with the help of Adam's father, but his father will help only if the school is named after Alice & the baby.

Also, one of the earlier eps when Laura runs away because she thinks she caused Frederick's death, but especially the end when Charles finds her and they reunite and are both crying their eyes out.

There are so many good ones, I don't think I could pick just one or even ten shows that made me teary. "I'll Be Waving..." is one of them. So is "Sylvia".

My cousin says she gets sad when they show the circus episode with Mr. Oleson's fat sister. I just laugh and say that she's crazy.

OH! I just remembered my favorite: the one where Laura and Albert hop the train with their friend who has cancer and they travel to see the Pacific Ocean. I'm getting emotional just thinking about it. :crying:

I'm a sap--my favorite is still the "O. Henry moment" at the end of "Christmas at Plum Creek" where we discover Laura has given up Bunny so Ma can have the stove.

The "Remember Me" episode, at the very end when Mr. Edwards picks up little Alicia and Mrs. Sandersons voice recites that poem.

Ok, I think the story to the final Little House move is a BIG stretch, but it does contain one of my favorite scenes of the entire series. Shortly after all of the buildings are destroyed, you see Reverend Alden walk through the shattered town. He's in absolute tears, the music is poignant and slow. He walks right up to the "Walnut Grove" sign which has been knocked over and stops. He then walks up to the church school and rings the bell one last time. This entire sequence is one of the most memorable to me.

I think some of the episodes that are the most moving are I'll Be Waving As You Drive Away, The Last Farewell, May We Make Them Proud.

Is this just before the school/church is destroyed? Because I recall all of the buildings being destroyed except the "Little House."

Too numerous to mention them all - I guess the sadest, most memorable one for me is the The Last Farwell, where they leave Walnut Grove and blow up the town. Very sad
