Yeah, I don't know why they took it off. I loved them all (except Wayne - too much like one of my brothers)!!

They were sooooo accurate on the props, costuming, etc. for that show. We had the same Kool-aid jug and cookie jar they had and it made me watch everything in the background to see what else connected. The green and white jacket Kevin wore was SO typical of boys' jackets during that time.

Sure brings back memories whenever I watch it.

I know they were so accurate when I first saw it, I actually thought that show was filmed in the late 60s/early 70s. No lie. Then I found out I was actually alive when it was on the air. :lol:

That's why I was happy when I heard The 70s Show was coming on - at first, the sets looked quite accurate, but I noticed after a couple of seasons, the hairstyles were too modern and even some of the dialogue wasn't right - NOBODY used "Dude" back then - it was "Hey man" or something similar.

Same thing happened to Happy Days imo. Here they were supposed to still be in the early 60s, but Ritchie's hair was long and well over his ears - that didn't come in until the mid-60s or so because of the Beatles and when it did, was considered "rebellious" - no way Howard or Marion would have let him look like that!

I like Charles In Charge. That's the one with Scott Baio. He lives in a house with a lot of people and watches their kids. It was a cute show.
