I was on the HD board Last night and learned that after september 3rd they NAN is taking off HD and L&s off the air and they say that the contracts have exspiered but I think they are just looking for a excuse not to show it who agress with me? whos,with me I say we start apetiton http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

I thought it was HD and Bewitched that were leaving! Are you sure it's Laverne and Shirley?

I apologize but I think my post to the HD board confused you. For those who did not read the post, i made an educated guess that that L&S will unfortunately not stay on at 12:30 beyond the Three’s Company Marathon (but it will from September to the marathon). But that is not the only time that it will go on. The N@N schedule at nick-at-nite.com shows that L&S will also go on at 5:00 AM. It’s probably the permanent position.

I asked TheLink, (NAN AOL Boss) if Happy Days and Bewitched were leaving, he said "I have no answer. Let's just say they're on hiatus." L&S is not leaving, because each show NAN gets has a five-year-contract. So far it's only been two. I only know of one show that broke the five-year rule, which was I dream of Jeannie, which joined NAN in '94 and left in '98, but that's because it went to TVLand. I don't think HD's contract is up yet. The worst that could happen to L&S, Happy Days, or Bewitched is that they goes to TVLand. But, for now, L&S is safe in it's 12:30/11:30 spot on Nick At Nite.
