View Full Version : Casting John Ritter
I Love John Ritter 06-12-2005, 03:55 AM If John were still with us, and you could cast him in a movie with any other actor/actress (those not pertaining to "Three's Company") who would it be and why?
EDIT: You may chose an actor/actress who is deceased or no longer acting if you wish.
PrettyinPink55 06-12-2005, 03:57 AM That's a good question! I really don't know! How about casting him with his wife again? They did a great job in Problem Child!

Yeah, I like John acting with Amy. They were good in "Last Man on the List". I thought it was a funny movie, and Amy played the nice/innocent girl. You guys should watch the movie. :)
Number 9 Dream 06-12-2005, 01:16 PM I agree :) It might be nice to see him with Amy again.
I Love John Ritter 06-12-2005, 01:22 PM I personally think it would of been cool to see him in a movie with Michael J. Fox. Both John and Michael are comedians, but they have different ways of being comedians. John has physical comedy, and Michael has more of a sarcastic comedy, so I think it would go great. :D
Number 9 Dream 06-12-2005, 01:25 PM Hehehe, that would've been cute too....I just thought of two others-- Billy Bob Thornton(I loved them together in Sling Blade) and Henry Winkler :)

John was in a movie with Henry Winkler called "The Only Way Out". I haven't see it but from what I've heard it's pretty hard to find considering almost no one has it. I heard it aired on Lifetime once a while ago. Does anyone here have that on tape??

Oh man, I never thought of that! I think that would be so awesome if they did a movie together! You're right, Michael does have that sarcastic comedy in him, and John could do his physical comedy and be a goofball like himself. :)

No, I don't have it on DVD either. I think I know which movie you're talking about though. I think someone posted a picture of that movie on the TC picture board. You could go search it and maybe ask the person who posted the picture if they ever saw it. :D
LuLu Rogers 06-12-2005, 07:16 PM I think that John had the best on screen chemistry with Markie Post. They had some VERY steamy love scenes together! I also loved him with Connie Selleca in "The Last Fling."

It was never released on DVD or VHS, that's why I'm asking if anyone has it. Anyway, I have the picture: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v648/ilovejohnritter/Movies/OnlyWayOut.jpg

Yeah, I know. A lot of the really good pictures always have words on them!
