Is it just me, or does the character of Mr. Defasio (sp?) get more and more annoying as the series goes on? He started out as your average Italian father, and by the end of the series he was litteraly SHOUTING every single one of his lines! Of the characters on that show, Mr. Defasio is my least favorite. I even liked Shirley's parents more than I like him!

Hey! I like Mr. De Fazio! (What a surprise, I like all the characters) He's just an overprotective father of Laverne, and what you guys need to understand is that if the character gets annoying, they're supposed to be annoying (acutally, I don't think he's annoying). Like Rhonda was supposed to be the most annoying person on earth (I actually thought Sonny was more annoying, but that's just because Laverne liked him and therefore drove her away from her soulmate, Lenny. It was mostly spite...) Speaking of Sonny! There was a question about him on TVLand's Ultimate Fan Search semi-finals tonight! They said "Ed Marinaro was busy that year, not only was he in Hill Street Blues, he also played a stuntman character on the Burbank version of Laverne & Shirley. Name that character." One person rang in early and thought they were asking for the show name, but neither of them knew the character's name. I was screaming at the TV "SONNY ST. JACQUES!!! SONNY ST. JACQUES!!!" But I don't think they were listening....

I personally think Lenny and Squiggy are the most annoying people in the world. The hand biting... the accents... the stupid behavior. But I guess they're supposed to be like that. But if they're soulmates, I would not want to be Laverne! *shudder*

I like Lenny and Squigg... They were just so stupid, and that made them hilarious. Like when Lenny ate the rubber grapes and when they had dog races at their diner and when they were going to open up a duck circus...
