just watched on my season 3 dvd set, "Archie is Branded". Wow, the effect a fictious television episode can have on you, that last scene, my heart just dropped.

Yeah, man. What started as a swastika ended in a major explosion. I had the same feeling, too.

It still gets to me when I see it and I know what's coming. It was episodes like that one that made it such a fabulous show. Really makes you think doesn't it?

When I so that episode for the first time, I was surprised at the ending it wasn't anything I'd ever seen in a sitcom.

Of course All in the Family was fictitious, but it seemed so real. Thats why those episodes have such an impact. Thats why many call it the greatest TV show in history.

There were many more episodes like this.

It was a really strange coincidence last week. Canadian t.v. run AITF from 1 - 2 p.m. weekdays and the day of the London bombing, this ep was aired. It REALLY struck a chord then.

Proves that this garbage has been going on for 30 yrs. :(

Definetly one of my favourite episodes.I'll never forget that ending. The way the dead silence continues right through to the closing credits, where you normally heard applause from the studio audience.Creepy:eek:
