Despite it being my least favorite season, I am still looking forward to it a lot!

Number 9 Dream 06-10-2005, 08:13 PM Yea, same here! LOL...don't wanna rush the summer but I am itching for a new DVD already! Then it's on to season 6, one of the best ever!

I Love John Ritter 06-10-2005, 08:21 PM I too don't want to rush the summer either (mine hasn't even started yet...) but I'm eager for season 5! I hope they give us some bloopers!!! It really was a shame that my favorite season did not have any bloopers. I was really looking forward to bloopers from season 4.
Number 9 Dream 06-10-2005, 08:23 PM Me too...I think the bloopers really make the set :) It's nice to see stuff that was only seen through their eyes-- the little goofs and such :D It also reminds you of the hard work it takes to memorize lines and get it perfect. I hope they include them as well.
I'm also really excited to see some stuff from Jenilee...we don't get to hear much about her.

Moonlight Lady 06-10-2005, 08:31 PM Yeah, I was really disappointed that we didn't get bloopers with season 4.
I agree, they really make the set. I hope there's Richard Kline does an interview for season 5.
Number 9 Dream 06-10-2005, 08:34 PM Me too...that would be really cool to see :D Or more bloopers from his end ;)

Oh my god, that would be awesome. He's hilarious on the show, I can imagine how funny his bloopers would be. I loved his scene at the end of the episode where Cindy moves in. "Oh no Mr. Bill"
Number 9 Dream 06-10-2005, 09:21 PM Hahhaa, me too. I often think Larry is too underrated for his own good. He brought a LOT to that show and made a hilarious friend(and foil  ) for Jack Tripper. I'll dance with glee if bloopers from Richard are on there :D

I don't know. I might ask her tomorrow since it's the weekend. Maybe then she'll be more relaxed and say yes to order the DVD's. I'm hoping to get Season 4 and Real Men.
Number 9 Dream 06-10-2005, 09:46 PM Good choices...a lot of people say Real Men is one of his most funny movies.

Yeah, I heard it's a good movie too. With Jim in it too, it has to be good. He used to be in Saturday Night Live.
Number 9 Dream 06-10-2005, 09:50 PM Yeah, two very funny men in one movie. Must be good :D

I haven't seen all of John's movies (his filmography is WAY too big) but I have seen most, and "Real Men", IMHO, is the funniest. Like I've said before, it's my favorite!

Chain Gang Member 06-11-2005, 06:20 PM What's cool is that by the middle of 2007,all dvd releases will be out and we won't have to worry if TC isn't on at a good time :D
Moonlight Lady 06-11-2005, 07:00 PM Yeah, it'll be awesome just watching it whenever we want.

TV DVD Fan 07-06-2005, 12:52 PM I just wrote an extensive DREAM review for season five, then it gets erased.
Review- Season 5 saw Suzanne's departure but good came out of it as Jenilee joined the cast. She would later get an opening credit in season 6, but would no longer occupy Apt. 201.
Discs 1 and 2 and 3 had the selections "Play", "Episodes" and "Setup" with moving pictures of the season five cast. 4 provided one extra option, "Extras." The extras included a 90 minute doc, "Apt. 201 Revisited" starring Don Knotts and Richard Kline in Part One, Joyce DeWitt in the opening and closing intros and Priscilla and Jenilee in Part Two. In the doc, bloopers and behind the scenes takes. Other extras, commentary on my personal season five fave, "The Case of The Missing Blonde" with author Chris Mann, and on another episode, as a hidden feature. Another hidden extra included a touching Amy Yasbeck interview directly following the episode of 'Wings' they did together. Another 10 minute doc, "Suzanne Says Goodbye" is included as well as an original script for two season five episodes, deleted scenes and notes for 2 of the 22 episodes appearing as footnotes at the bottom of the screen. Audience Warmups, best of clips for the stars, and original cast commercials and promos round out the set. When you select an episode, 3 selections show up, Play, (Commentary if applicable, not included in count), Back, and Scenes. Yep, finally a scene selection. 4 of them- Opening Credits, Act One, Act Two, and Tag w/ Closing Credits included. Another great job Anchor Bay, keep it up.
Season Six with fan fave, 'Up in the Air' is next. Enjoy your sets. Buy the 4- disc set November the Fifteenth of Two Thousand And Five. Thank You for reading my review.
The original review was longer and more drawn out, so instead of going in depth about the opening credits for season five and six, I cut it down. I originally mentioned that "The Case of The Missing Blonde" was one of my personal top 3 faves for the show. The other two would probably be "A Night Not To Remember" and "Up In The Air/ Mate for Each Other" (tie)
Coming Soon to the thread- behind the scenes written interviews, show clips and more.
New trivia game also coming soon.
Check out the new news for season five at Pavan's New Sticky and/or my Season Five Date Change Thread. Or, one more option, Pavan's site http://jacksbistro.freeservers.com.
