Goldhil/Tango Entertainment has informed me that FIRST & TEN S1/S2 has been delayed until 2006.

I just bought my copy of the complete series at Walmart and can't beat the price of $19.96 for the complete series. Each season comes on a 2 sided disk. There are no extra features but quality of video is very good, at least season 1 is which is all I have watched so far but expect rest of set to be of the same quality. so if you enjoyed this show during the 80's or even if you are only a casual fan this is a great addition to anyones dvd collection. I figured I saved $100 by buying this at Walmart instead of waiting for the individual season sets. Now just have to think what sets I can buy with the money I have saved.

i dont understand why they would even BOTHER releasing the seasons individually now, what more could you WANT when you can get the whole series in one set, for LESS?

i've been watching mine, their is SOME artifacts from over-compression, but its only really noticable when the show the stadium crowds in the background

How many episodes are on each disc? When you cram that many episodes on a disc, there has got to be atleast some compression on them. Are they uncut?

All 6 disks 2 sided
Season 1 13 episodes
Season 2 10 episodes
Season 3 13 episodes
Season 4 14 episodes
Season 5 14 episodes
Season 6 16 episodes

Back of the box says approx. running time 40 hours and the disclaimer that some scenes may have been altered from the original program.
So all though some scenes may have been cut, for the price of $20 for the complete series, I think it is worth it. I frigure I just have another $100 in savings to spend on other dvds.

i have noticed some cut scenes - they are parts that just don't make sense because of the missing footage, and I've noticed a few edits, at least a couple of the episodes must be syndication versions - there is one scene in the 3rd or 4th season where you can CLEARLY see Coach Ernie say "ass" but the word "foot" is heard

I hate the double-sided disks - I've got 2 episodes that won't play all the way through, the episode guest-starring Brian Bosworth won't play at ALL without locking up. (I can't seem to find my receipt either)

- one other thing that annoys me is that there are no chapter selections; when you press "next" or "skip" it just goes to the next episode (it does the same thing on all 3 of my dvd players).
