I do not blame JoMarie Payton Noble one bit for leaving Family Matters. I think she should of just stayed on the show because there were only 11 episodes left. She's a major part of the show and she should of just finished it because JoMarie Payton Noble is Harriette Winslow and always will be. No one can ever replace her. She's a great actress.

Yeah, but they were told that there would be a 10th season and JoMarie Payton didn't want to stay around for another year, but I'm sure if she knew the show would be ending in a few eps anyway, she probably would have stayed.

I also think if she known it would be cancelled after 11 episodes she would have stayed on. She thought it was going to be a 10th season so that is why she left she couldn't take another year.

I never knew that there was going to be a 10th season of Family Matters. JoMarie Payton Noble left during the 9th season. I wish she could of just stayed on the show until the 9th season was finished. I know the last episode she was on was in December 1997. There were only 11 episodes of the 9th season that aired in 1998.
