Verdict's not in yet for 'Jury'
Could there be life at NBC for "Law & Order: Trial by Jury," the spin-off of the franchise that wasn't picked up when the network revealed its fall lineup?
Speculation is swirling that NBC may pick up 13 episodes of the series, which starred Bebe Neuwirth, Amy and Fred Dalton Thompson.
If that happens, "Trial by Jury" could be a midseason series.
The show was to have hinged on Jerry Orbach. However, he died after four episodes were filmed. The show continued production and last season averaged more than 10 million viewers.
