Aww! Thanks guys! This just made my day even better :). I haven't been around here very often and I wasn't sure if I would see this thread but you definitely put a smile on my face :) <my face ;)

Anyways, it used to be in Maryland that you could be 16 to get your license, but since it's been changed to 16 and 1 month (because that one month makes all the difference) since I'm sixteen it's um...easier for me to get a job, I can drop out of school, and I can donate blood...woo...

mass. is permit @ 16 (must drive w/ family member + over 18 w/ license), license @ 16 1/2, must wait 6 months to drive others (only direct family memebers for the first month), then legal to drive anyone @ 17.

ahh, that sucks

here it's permit at 15 and 9 months (driving with anybody w/ license 21 + who have had their license for 3 + years) and I JUST beat the new law...as of june 1 people without their permit have to wait 6-8 months to get their license but I got my permit in march so I can get my license at 16 and 1 month. I think along with those new permit law it's you have to have your license for 3 months before driving people outside of your family but with my parents I won't be able to drive anyone for a looooooooooooong time.
