I'm trying to find out the name of a comedy series from the 80's that had an Italian lady who filmed a cooking show from the kitchen in her house. I think she talked about the family and their different problems while filming the show. I think I sort of have the plot right. Does anybody know what show I'm talking about?

Yes, It was called Mama Malone and it starred Lila Kaye as Mama Malone
