I know I am a wee bit early about this. But I am posting Birthday tributes to our Freddie who would of turned 51 this year. I was thinking about him this weekend... I know his birthday is coming up... I always have him in my heart but as specially at this time of year... I imagine this is a tuff time for Maria too.

I would like to encourage anyone here that if they are interested in posting a tribute in the timeless gift of laughter pages of Ed Brown's Garage and the soon to be one in the new Freddie site. I will be getting the page ready for this coming wednesday as we all know is Freddie's 51st birthday. I have received an email from Isaac ( Mando). I am going to be away on my 25th wedding anniversary trip that week, but I will be thinking about you all. Hubby and I got married the day before Freddie's birthday in 1980.

We got married in June too! Happy Anniversary! :) We'd love to see ya write a new story. School should be out soon. ;) We'd love to get together with ay sometime again in the future. Hope we didn't scare ya away... :)

I want to thank Suz for posting it and all of you for your kind words. I know you all might think I have forgotten you all and Freddie over the past several months, but truth is, my reality was more than my fantasy life could bear. Good news is that I am finished with this group of students and have the long summer to look forward to. I am looking forward to re-aquinting myself with the joys of writing. Sorry for the dryspell Cheryl. I missed it too!

I too felt like i was holly i loved every second of the read ot was awesome in every word and call me a brat but i was especially glad that she didn't share anything about it with those friends who deserted her on her special day LOL

Time sure has flown. I was only 11 when he died and I still remember that day. Its nice to know that a lot of people are keeping his memory alive.

Suz, I know you have contact with Isaac. Would you please let him know how much we appreciate his sharing what he did on your site. It was sad, truth, but it was so heartfelt that I was happy as well as sad. I know Isaac was a good friend to Freddie, and sometimes we don't see these things coming. I have had some friends who have had spouses and kids take their own life, and believe me, they didn't see it coming either. I am so glad that Freddie's mom reached out to him when he was grieving. She seems like such a great lady, not only cause she is Freddie's mom, but she seems so kind and understanding and a woman of faith. And I know that Isaac might not have known it at the time, but he was probably strength for her as well.
When I read Isaac's remembrances of Freddie it makes me wish I had the opportunity to meet Freddie. At least I know his spirit is living still in his friends and loved ones. Isaac, Maria, Freddie Jr. all have a little of Freddie in them and when people like Isaac grace us with some rememberances, it is like we knew him like that too. Thanks for posting his thoughts to us.

Thanks Luckymama. I sure will. Infact I made a special little video for Isaac as a appreciation for his emotional and personal tribute he sent of Freddie. Isaac is by far a true friend of Freddie and I am so thankful that he was there for Maria and Karl during there time of sadness

I have been receiving some wonderful birthday tributes. I received a wonderful message from the musical director of CATM. I will be posting the tributes I have received at the Freddie Prinze Sr.com site sometime on Friday. I am at my parents house and can not work on my website on there computer. I should have the tributes up Friday afternoon.

Imagine that? How he comforted Maria and Karl. God sent Mando to them.

And God sent Lucille to Mando.

Yesterday I thought of Freddie all day. The 1st thing I thought of is that Freddie would be 52.

The 2nd thing I thought of was Fred Jr. How is he doing? Where is he today? etc....

I kept thinking I have to light a candle for Freddie.

As always I thought of Maria....... I hope she is well.

We were at least fortunate to have seen Freddie even if it was on TV. I'm glad that he was with us for a short time because he made me and others happy.

Suz if you can... please post this on your sight. I tried to make a poem for Freddie but somehow I kept getting distracted.

As for Wheeone........... :wave: Wheeone I tried to get on your lovely site but for some reason it doesn't work for me. I was fortunate enough to be able to read some of the emails that pop up. I can't comment on anything but I am reading the emails. :)
