What is it? Does that mean you can listen to radio stations from across the country?

I have an XM Satellite Radio and I love it. It doesn't have all the radio stations in the country like you said, it has their own stations. Quite a variety of them, too.

Not exactly, my friend. It's like cable TV on your radio. You have channels like, Easy Listening, The 50's The 60's, The 70's 80's, 90's and now. Light Rock. Top 40's. Elvis, 24-7, Classic Vinyl, Hard Rock, Harder Rock Alternative Rock, News Channels, Old time Radio, and dozens more. Takes about a half hour to install it your self in your car. No local wacky dummy DJs who wouldnt know real comedy if it bit them in the nose. Gotta go now and serve dinner but will be back with more answers if you need them. In short: Satelite radio: I LOVE IT!

No.

They have their own stations, but you can pick them up all over the country no matter where you are.

I have Sirius thru Dish Network and it's pretty cool. Some of the DJs on some of the stations are kind of annoying, but I like the variety.

If you want to see if a station from another state is online, you can look on:

www.radio-locator.com (http://www.radio-locator.com)

just type in the city and if any station has a lightning rod next to it, you can listen to it on the internet.

I'm listening to a station is KC, MO right now, and it hasn't gone out once. I'm really shocked.

2 questions:

1. Are there commercials?
2. Is the music uncensored.

I'm planning on getting XM radio if you answer #1 with a no, and #2 with a yes.

I have Sirius and it's great, I think it's better than XM but that's only my opinion.

It's commerical free...

I don't believe it's censored... they actually have an adult channel or two I think you can get for extra.

Man, if there's one thing the internet is great for, it's to get radio stations from anywhere. I get perfect reception even when I listen to radio stations from Poland, and that'sover 5000 miles away!
