Why was Jenny considered a blood daughter of Tom? She was dark as night, and he was pale as snow. Jenny was darker than Lionel (the first one) and both of his parents was black. Vice versa for Alan and Helen. The writers screwed up with this one. They both could have introduced both children from previous relationships. Duh?

I agree! I thought it was pretty ridiculous they way Jenny and Alan looked. They should've looked for lighter skinned or milatto actors to play the roles.
