Has anyone traded with anyone who has an email address of perristudios@yahoo.com?

I was wanting to do a trade with them and wanted to see if anyone has dealt with them? They have not given me their name!

WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This person has recently been discussed on other trading boards...

He/she will require you to send first or supposedly at the same time. Do a google search on portions of the email address, and you will find out more. Here are some links at sitcomsonline:

http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=108770&highlight=brazil

Earlier I did a google search on part of the address (30350-760):

http://www.angelfire.com/mo2/videolist
http://www.geocities.com/old_cartoons_attic/badtraders.html

MARELENA H.
R PROF JOSE RENAULT 204/1003
BH - MG
30350-760
BRAZIL

Other variations:

Al Emrerley
R. Pe. Eustaquio 2798
Belo Horizonte - MG
30720-100
Brasil

ADRIANO NUNES SOUTO
RUA PADRE EUSTAQUIO 2798
BH-MG 30720-100
BRAZIL

ALBERTO NUNES
RUA PE. EUSTÁQUIO 2798
BH - MINAS GERAIS
30720-100
BRASIL

TvBlast DVD
Rua Pe. Eustaquio 2798
Belo Horizonte - MG
30720-100
Brazil

He uses abbreviations such as:

BH = Belo Horizonte
MG = Minas Gerais
R. Pe. = Rua Padre Eustaquio

By comparing these, you can see the common threads in the addresses above. Recently this person has started using a completely different code number, rather than 30720-100, but as another trader pointed out, even with a wrong zip code, we usually get our mail delivered.

Thanks for the info Agent13. I am not dealing with this guy. You saved me from getting ripped off.

I bet these scammers get steamed when they get exposed. I guess they change email addresses once it happens enough. I'm happy that you didn't flush your $ down the toliet by sending it to this person.

Yes that is the scammer from south america. That guy just won't quit will he?
I never traded with him or anything before but knew he was a bad trader.

Too bad there couldn't be a "sub-board" to the trading post board where you could list known scammers.

This Brazilian is listed here
(link can be found through Good Trader Posts Only! (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=132409) ):

http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?s=&threadid=114765&perpage=15&pagenumber=1

As you can see, he abbreviated his address in various ways to make it almost impossible to find anything with a simple google check.

Compiling an efficient list of bad traders has been tried, usually with the disasterous results (i.e. losing email accounts, losing yahoo groups, losing web sites, etc.). The problem is: the worse the trader, the better they know the tricks of the trade needed to get information about them removed from sites.

The Trading Post is a very small section of sitcomsonline. Because of that, TJ was hesitant about even having an inefficient list of bad traders posted. Like most, I feel it important to warn the public about such people, but at this point in time, we're limited.
