TV LAND SCORES MOST-WATCHED MAY EVER
Network Boasts Double Digit Gains Among Core Demo and Total Viewers
Santa Monica, Ca, June 1, 2005 -TV Land scored its most-watched May in the
network's nine-year history among its target demo of Adults 25-54 and total
viewers on a total programming day basis, according to findings from Nielsen
Media Research (4/25/05-5/29/05). Bolstered by the success of the network's
regularly scheduled programming including Three's Company, Sanford and Son,
Bonanza and Gunsmoke, TV Land finished the month with double digit gains in
target demo delivery and total viewers.
Overall, TV Land posted, in total programming day, a 0.3/284,000 rating and
delivery for its core demo (A25-54), a +50% rise in rating and a 20% gain in
delivery over the same time period last year. Among P2+, the network
attracted an average of 549,000 total viewers, an increase of 18% over 2004.
