I'm here...

(more tumbleweeds...)

This board is on my daily list to check for updates, but I rarely have an opportunity to post new stuff because of my busy work schedule.

I am hoping to get some time soon to contribute to the NLITB board soon too.

They have a lot of posters over there. Very interesting and super friendly board room.

I know that tvland has a big audience, so therefore has a lot of posters. It must be one of the most popular classic television websites on the internet.

This is a very quiet place. Hoping to see more posters show up soon.

The TV Land Boards are a joke... you have to click on every single link just to read a message, and you can only see one message at a time, instead of just scrolling down the page like we can here...

Also, I tried to register over there, put in my birthdate (I was born during the original run of Leave It To Beaver) and a message popped up saying "Sorry, you have to be at least 13 years old to post messages"!!!

I turned 13 during the ORIGINAL network run of the Brady Bunch, for crying out loud...and my year of birth would indicate that, if TV Land's web site had a clue...

Whoever constructed TV Land's web site needs to brush up on their math a little bit, I think...

(a few minutes later)

Man, I just went to the "Contact TV Land" link on their site... i explained the above problem and clicked on "send", I got a message that the URL cound not be found.

Oh well.

Trouble is, most people who remember the 50s sitcoms are either dead, or too old to use a puter!

Hey, I'm new to this board so excuse me if this question has been asked a million times but ... is "Leave It To Beaver" going to be issued or has bit been issued on DVD? Thanks.

I think it's scheduled for release on November 1 2005 (1st season)... there's a posting on one of these LITB threads somewhere...

but I think it's Nov 1 for season 1...
