Effective January 2006, Kids' WB weekday block will be removed and replaced by off-network programming targeted for adults 18-49 from Warner Bros. Shows have not been announced yet, but eventually Warner plans to produce first run series.
Kids' WB Saturday will remain and expand to 12 noon.

I wouldn't count on any "classics"......I can see Amanda Bynes and "What I Like About You" double run and similar recently cancelled Warner shows. Maybe "8 Simple Rules" possibily????

Sad to see the end of an era which included The Disney Afternoon (TaleSpin, Rescue Rangers), the FOX afternoon (Power Rangers, The Tick), and earlier Kids WB (Animaniacs, Pinky & The Brain), along with the more modern classics (Pokemon). I'll certainly be recording all of the Pokemon they air--and maybe CN or Nick will get Pokemon repeats once more. I just hope that someone else (4KIDS TV, perhaps) creates an afternoon animation block to replace all of those court shows, reality repeats or tired sitcom repeats (ad infinitium like Seinfeld).

That's very sad.http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif I remember that I used to watch cartoons during the late afternoon on channels 5 (WNEW/WNYW) and 11 (WPIX) where they used to show old and classic cartoons from the past. I remember "Voltron", "GI Joe", "Transformers", "Go Bots", "The Super Mario Brothers Super Show" and those other great shows that I remember. It's sad to see them go. I don't watch Kids WB too much. WPIX is the last station to run late afternoon cartoon blocks. And yes. I do remember the "Disney Afternoon" blocks as well.

Only 2 more days left to watch the Afternoon Show and it's goodbye Kids WB in the afternoon, hello to Daytime WB.
