In the animated category, I say that "The Simpsons" and "King of the Hill" should both be cancelled.

For some reason I can handle Nick & Jessica, but that Britney & The Bum thing is absolutely pathetic!! It boggles my mind that anyone thought it would be interesting viewing.

And Fear Factor wears thin - how often can you watch someone eating a mixing bowl of worms and still be entertained???

Get rid of chasing farah I hate that stupid show and im not the only one I mean who gives a hoot about an over the hill former pinup girl thats a 1970s reject, and I also think anything with paris hilton should go too i mean just because she was born into a rich family some idot has to push her on the public and expect us to like her even if she has no talent so shes pretty but then again who isnt, lots of pretty talented girls get turned away who have more talent than hilton and the only time these girls get even close to TV or The big screen is when they go see a movie or turn on their tv set.

I would call them solid performers. They were both very good for their respective networks at their peaks, but are now both long, long past that. I think that both networks are going to regret the renewals come next season.

THE SHOWS THAT AXED ARE EVERY REALITY SH0W EXCEPT THE AMAZING RACE {Because its the only reality show thats worth watching and doesnt ruin tv}... THE SHOWS THAT I WANT TO GET AXED THE MOST ARE...

AMERICAN IDOL {Because this show is ruining television as we speak} and SUPERNANNY {Because just dont like the show}

OTHER SHOWS THAT SHOULD GET AXED ARE...

7TH HEAVEN- Because this show has past its time... but if it continues to help WB then its cool that its still on...
THE SIMPSONS- This show has given us classic moments.. but needs to step up to re-set the standard the simpsons have set for animated tv

It was hard for me to say The Simpsons because it still is a good show but needs to step up next year. I would of said Reba but havent seen the show, I would of said Less Than Perfect or According to Jim only because Im disapointed in abc Fall Schedule and the question wasnt about which network should get axed...MTV should stay away from PowerGirls and Sweet 16.. and not show to much ads for Laguna Beach:The Real Orange County. The Britney and Kevin Show: Choatic... is as good as gone.

The Simpsons (Great show but well past its used by date. The new episodes are wierd  )

Will & Grace (Also past its used by date. Put it out of its misery)

That 70's show (The star has left the show. It is not a wise idea to continue it.)

Every Reality show (EVERY reality show)

Every cop drama

Joey (Never liked it to begin with)

King of the Hill (Its just not as good anymore)

According to Jim (just get rid of it ohno: )

Exactly. They may have been strong performers in the past, but they are really showing their wear now. Will and Grace uses so many guest stars it's ridiculous and now with Eric and Kelso gone, That 70's Show is going to be boring.

True, but we need to also realize that NBC is not the powerhouse it once was... all across the board its ratings are down so a show like Will and Grace is important for them if they want any sort of viewers. its going to be W&G's last season so NBC will have that year to try and build some sort of hits on the night and use W&G as a lead-in to other shows. and plus their pilots were nothing to write home about so it makes perfect sense that W&G got renewed.

Interesting fact- when Will & Grace aired a special, new episode of the first Tuesday of sweeps at 9:30pm, it drew 5.5 million viewers and a 2.4/6 in adults 18-49, the lowest numbers of its entire run and not even holding onto its Scrubs lead-in. Will & Grace is not a stand alone show anymore.

"will & Grace' is being used as a lead-in to "The Apprentice" this year. NBC is not trying anything new on Tuesday and thus will be screwed even more when W&G and Joey both bomb next year. They could fall as fourth in their timeslot, depending on they returns for The OC and Alias. This is precisely the moment when NBC should be taking chances of the night- it's a give-in that it's going to fall further on the night from fairly anemic ratings already. Except that it's not taking any chances and is going to be hit for it.

I have doubts that an 8 year old show who's falling down the ratings hill faster than a rock will help NBC get back up among the powerhouses.

Besides, where the network sits ratings wise is no excuse for showing bad TV.

i didn't say it would help them get back to powerhouse... i said it could help them develop a solid night of ratings.. and btw, Will and Grace may not be in top form anymore but its hardly the worst show on their line-up... that dishonor goes to all their reality shows and medium.

I think that's the main reason The Apprentice was down so sharply this past season. 1st season it had Friends which was the best lead-in on television at the time. 2nd and 3rd had sitcoms that are only coming in 2nd(a distant 2nd at that) in their timeslots because the rest of the competition is weaker.

The Simpsons- It's run it's course. Its a good show, even though i dont like it, but its been on long enough.
7th Heaven- 9 seasons would have been good enough IMO, 10 is going a little overboard, but it should definitley end after this year.
That Britney Spears show
Will and Grace- it's been on too long to begin with.
Survivor- its been on way too long. the idea got old, fast
Basically, any reality show thats been on longer than 6 seasons. 6 seasons is long enough for a reality show because after 5-6 years the idea gets old.

Oh and one more-

That 70s Show

I'm only going to list shows I once enjoyed....

That 70s Show - It hasn't been funny in years. Without Topher Grace the show will be a pile of ****, compared to a pile of trash this past season. Ashton Kutcher is so unfunny it gets on my nerves. He successfully ruined a show I would have otherwise considered a favorite. Had Topher Grace stayed while Kutcher left, it may have redeemed itself. With them both gone, it just gets even worse.

American Idol - It's too popular for being such a lame show. I watched a lot of seasons 2 and 3, and a little of the auditions for season 4, but this series has run its course. Simon is mean, Randy says "dawg", and Paula acts like a total dumbass.... yeah, I get it. The concept of this series is good, but the delivery is terrible. And the fans become somewhat psychotic.

I want to add though....
Will & Grace got considerably better in the second half of the seventh season, almost on par with the first 4 or 5 years.

As for The Simpsons, I believe this year was its best since Season 10.... and maybe even better than that. The Simpsons has seen a definite dip in quality, but it is still very good. It's past its prime, but it isn't on life support. I think The Simpsons should live on forever, at least until a central voice actor passes away.

no its simply that people got sick of The Apprenctice, and once the initial curiosity factor wared off people just stopped watching.

must agree with both of those. The producers of That 70's Show obviously haven;t seen the post-Richie episodes of Happy Days. It's also the fans that turned me off to even having the desire to see American Idol, the only one on the show who has made a real impression has been Kelly. She's the only person who has sold records to people who didn't watch her on the show. Clay's fans are still obsessed over him, but the rest of us have forgotten him. Ruben was an also-ran at best. AI is a total champion of style over substance, except none fo them have the style make any real impression, except for Kelly, and the only reason she's still here is because she did a 180.

I think that 7th Heaven should go. I used to love this show, but Brenda Hampton has gotten very sloppy with her writing the last couple of years and the plots she comes up with, (or uses again), show that this drama is getting tired. (Lucy just had a baby in an elevator...how many times has THAT been done?!) And, like I said, nothing NEW ever happens to these characters...they go through, basically, the same crisis'. Simon still runs around with girls, Lucy is still an obnoxious whiner who must get everything that she wants, and Mary is still appallingly irresponsible. And this is coming from someone who used to be a fan...

What's with all the people wanting to ax all the CSI's? Just not fans of crime dramas?

Two of the 3 CSI's were in the top 10 this year...not too bad for a spinoff (Miami).

Will & Grace should have been axed years ago - Harry Connick Jr was the shark jump. Also Joey was pulled in Australia after 4 dismal weeks in 4th place behind the Public Station!

Agree that That 70s Show without it's major leads turns into Happy Days the Ted McGinley years.

Also any show with a Fat Husband/Hot Wife should be immediately put out of our misery.
