In a few weeks, I will be having my yearbook picture taken. Our drape color is BROWN (EWWW!!!). We are told to wear a shirt underneath. What color shirt should I wear? I mean....what color goes well with BROWN??? :eek:

And... I'm also thinking of having my nails done (for the first time in my life, LOL). What colors will match err... everything else?

Yup, that's good. But the first thing that came to mind was yellow. But in my case yellow is not my color. Maybe it's yours? :confused:

White or off white, can't go wrong there

Also - does anyone know where I can find a pic of an actual graduation pic w/ a drape? (I have no clue how it looks like). I tried googling "graduation drape," but came up with only a few results.

Yellow sounds okay. :) I'll think about it, haha. I was thinking red... or maybe that's too... bright? I'm picky, hehe, but also very excited! :D

well, I may be color-blind, and according to my wife possessed of the worst sense of style possible, but I say that plaid goes with anything.

Khaki sound's good, tho. I think someone said beige/off-white, too... I'm still thinking haha. Have till June 21st to make a decision. :D

Maybe a peach/coral coloured shirt with a classic french manicure (definitely the classiest and it won't date itself). (Same with wedding pics - never go for trendy makeup - you'll look back at it in 20 years and scream)! ;)

Yeah, certain shades of blue can go with brown.

I wouldn't wear black tho - bad enough you're having to wear brown in June, but if you put black with it, you could end up looking like a shoe!

If it comes down to it, go with beige/cream/ecru - you can't lose with that combo. Still, with your colouring, a nice peach or coral would probably help "lighten" the brown. (Nothing like making grads look like baked potatoes)!! :eek: ;)

Anything goes with brown, imo. I dunno IMO all colors go together well, you just gotta get the right shades. Id go with purple though.
