Has anyone ever seen this short-lived Sitcom starring Malcolm Jamal Warner 5 months after the Cosby Show ended. It was supposed to be about innercity Line in New York.

I remember watching one episode, and then not watching it again.

Trust me, it was a bad show.

I must've missed that I don't remember that at all. I remember him in Malcolm & Eddie and that's all.

Do you mean Here and Now? I remember that series. Malcolm played a character named AJ who was a grad student in psychology and he was living with his uncle-in-law or some type of not blood relative played by Charles Brown and his daughter had a crush on AJ. It lasted 1/2 a season. THe one thing I can recall about it and every other show Malcolm Jamal Warner has headlined is that Malcolm was outstanding in Cosby Show from beginning to end, but soemthing about his acting is off kilter- he can't carry a show. THe writers and directors in Cosby Show did an excellent job with him because his acting in everything else has been mediocre to poor.

I saw a little bit of this. Wasn't Darryl "Chill" Mitchell in this too?

Look him up on imdb.com. He was in an episode of Cosby Show's last season directed by Malcolm Jamal Warner where Rudy and her friends trieid to sneak into a nightclub. He was funny in that show. He was also in Veronica's Closet, John Larroquette Show and Ed (he was a paraplegic by then) and he was recently in an episode of Eve.

Yeah, I tried a couple of episodes but couldn't handle it either.

I think Cosby himself was a big part of the reason those kids were so good on the show and shaky without him there to guide and mentor them. Malcolm still looks uneasy even in Listen Up!
