How old was Alex when the show first started, and how old was Micheal Fox? 12 or 14 maybe?

I don't think Alex was a good son nor a good brother. But that's why he was funny! At the beggining of the show, Alex was 17 and Michael J. Fox was 20.

I think he was good to his parents and lil bro but not his sisters, unless things got emotional. He always seemed to comfort Mallory and Jen but only when things got deep.

I think he was a good brother and son because he was always making jokes at their expense but when any of them really needed him he was there for them.
