Though generally pleased with the Season Eight DVDs thus far, I noticed a few errors. Yes, I'm nit-picking, so bear that in mind.

First off: The packaging. I think it's deceptive to have Radar on the DVD cover. Radar only appears in two full episodes, with cameos in three others. I always think of Radar's last season as the seventh.

Also, some episodes keep the "And Starring Gary Burghoff as Radar" credit in the opening sequence after he's left the show. Personally, I didn't care for that credit. I feel he should have been credited like he'd been in the previous seven seasons. Maybe it was their way of paying tribute to the soon-to-be-departed Gary Burghoff.

On a technical note, I've noticed that right before the final scene goes to a freeze frame with the credits superimposed over it that the image goes slightly dark, like the film was underexposed. This happened once on a Season Six episode, so it's not without precedent. However, on this one, most of the episode have this little glitch.

All that having been said, it's great seeing these episodes uncut once again. I have missed the scene where Klinger marches into the supply sargeant's office and hustles him out of a generator, pretending to be the general's aide. This scene was cut from the syndicated version for years and it's nice to see it again. Not to mention the other cut scenes - it's almost like seeing new footage!
