Did Alex and Rebecca ever have a romantic relationship between them, or were they just friends and had a business relationship? Does anyone think they would've made a good couple? Is Rebecca older than Alex or the same age?

My theory is that they tried Rebecca out as Alex's new foil to see if possibly enough chemistry would come about and she might be his new girlfriend. Ellen had recently left him and maybe they thought it was time to fill the void. But it all comes down to viewer reaction and I think she didn't get enough of a good one and only did a few episodes. I personally thought she was ok but too looked much older than Alex (though I was unsure of her age).
