Never saw or heard of the show until now. But it was a short-lived comedy that aired on ABC in the late 80's and is famous for basically announcing it's own cancellation on-air. LOL kinda funny!

The ending is hilarious. The rest of the show, or at least the rest of the last episode, was not.

I’ve never seen "I Married Dora," but I've certainly read about its infamous final episode. I've gotta admit, it sounds intriguing. How many other short-lived shows can boast such a clever finale?

I remember watching it when I was little, however, sadly, I don't remember seeing the last episode... :(

They showed the last scene of the last episode on TVlands 100 unxepected TV moments. Ranking number 49.

I'm surprised how TV Land didn't point out that a young Juliette Lewis was part of the cast (you could see her in the shots they showed of it even). I mean, she has definately accomplished enough since that show that it's an interesting footnote that she was on there IMO.

I'm surprised it was ABC though, the clips of it that TV Land showed totally reeked of 1987-era Fox
