I just found out this morning after seeing the doctor for a sore throat and they discovered this little surprise after some tests were completed. I had absolutely no idea at all. Except for the sore throat, I wasn't feeling any different and this certainly wasn't something we were planning on for a couple years. Our wedding isn't taking place till October 8th and by then I will be almost 7 months along. Never in a million years did I think I would get pregnant before my wedding but things do happen. My fiance just about fainted when I came home and told him. Anyways we are very very happy and excited and have already called his parents and they are happy too. I just can't believe this. I'm going to be a first time mom at 33. There were times when I thought it would never happen....

Congrats!!! Its freaky when you find out but had no idea you were pregnant (happened to me twice)! Hopefully its a good sign that it'll also be an easy pregancy! Time to change the wedding dress plans! ;)

Good Gosh No!!! I'm really putting my foot down concerning that name. Tom still wants to use it but he's also warmed up to Spencer or Stefan, the only other boys names we can agree on. I'm not in love with either of those names either but I am willing to compromise. We still have lots of time to decide though. Anyways, thanks everyone for all the congratulations. I am so excited and still can't believe it. I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight at all. I feel like if I go to sleep I'll wake up and discover this is all a dream or something...

Oh my god my brother actually did bite the neighbor's cat's tail once. That's the only time I ever saw my grandma get mad. : Weird..he just got married last Saturday. :lookaroun :lol:

My husband and I were very very careful . But our first child was born almost exactly 9 months(by a couple of weeks)after we were married! My grandpa even confronted my hubby and asked him if we had to get married! :lol: Remember this was way back in 1968 when premarital sex(at least in my family) was taboo. But we could honestly say that our baby was conceived after the marriage(barely) :lol: Haha my daughter even asked me one time if she was born too early! :lol: We were married on December7,1968 and she was born on September14,1969.

Well for a girl it will definitely be Christine. I told Tom to pick any middle name he wants. I originally wanted Elizabeth but had no idea how incredibly common that name is. My neighbor had a baby a few weeks ago and when I visited her in the hospital there were 3 Elizabeths in the nursery so I'm scratching that one off. As for a boy, I don't know. We both need to find something that we can agree on....
