I'm driving home and I notice the car behind me is swerving terribly so I turn on my signal onto my street way ahead of time, slo down early, almost to a stop and this ****er has to ****ing hit my gd car and keeps going. Now, there's an old man standing around watering plants that notices nothing, and this lady and her son who were walking. But this guy is obviously intoxicated, however, he remembers to turn off his tag light so nobody catches hig tag #. OK I'm 17 and i've never been in an accident and i'm scared to death not knowing what to do. I call my dad I'm yelling pissed off. There's really nothing but scratches on my car but MY tag did fall off. I mean I SERIOUSLY HATE PEOPLE

VENT!

Thankfully you're okay! I've had one hit and run accident in which my car was at a complete stop and the guy kept going. Another time my car was parked in the parking lot and I came out and found the passenger side ruined, and without a note. It sucks so hard.

I wouldve turned around and followed him. If I had a cell on me, even if I couldnt get his #, Id call the police and tell them where we are. Thats just me though, and I tend to get real heated when it comes to other drivers. Glad youre ok though.

Definitely FOLLOW them anytime you can. And if you have a cell phone on you, phone 911 immediately. That's not just if you're hit, but if you suspect someone is intoxicated or having an insulin reaction - anything. They're behind 2000 lbs. of steel that will kill and are very dangerous. You also should have reported it right away, in case this clown hits anything or anyone else on his journey. They can take paint transfers from the cars and get a very good idea if it's the same guy.

I am so sorry. I was never in a hit and run accident (only 13), but recently me and my gram were driving out of the High School parking lot, and this 18 year old girl backs up and hits the side of my grams car. Stupid people..
