This is about tv show s you always talked bad about but once you gave it a chance you liked or tv shows that you are imbarassed to like or even tv shows you never thought you would like cause it isnt your style.

I Have Three That Come to mind from each category:

Who's The Boss - I always got pissed when this was on after full house on Nick@Nite But now that i watch it early in the mornig i love it.

The Golden Girls - Me being a 15 year old male i would think thats a little imbarrasing.

7th Heaven - I just never thought i would ever like this show.

Same here! It's got that "got to look at that car wreck" attraction to it! Also LOVE your avatar - dogs and Rick Springfield - what could be better?!

Not to worry troopoleon8897 - my brother loved the Golden Girls all through the run and he would have been in a straight guy in his 30s at the time! ;)
As you know, it's not just for "old bags"!!

I also like Dr. Phil and Oprah (when she's not promoting herself).

I hate to admit that I watch Oprah, too. (In my own defense, like you, I only watch it sometimes. I don't think it needs to be pointed out that she is racist towards anyone who isn't black--just look at how many stories feature black people and how more sympathetic she is towards them--and I really get tired of watching that.)

i kind of hate to admit that i like the gilmore girls because im an over 30 male and the audience for the show skews much younger and is mostly female but i was a fan of lauren graham from way back before this show and a friend of mine whos daughter was a teen at the time kept telling me about it and i figured what the heck i will watch it once and that was all it took its one of the best written shows on tv and has stories to appel to all ages the funny thing is i kept watching the show long after my friends daughter stopped watching the show .also i like the simple life i know paris hilton takes a lot of flack for the things she does in her private life but ive noticed that if you watch the show enough times that shes the one who always comes across as polite nicole ritchie on the other hand comes off as the one who looks down on everybody .anyway those are 2 shows i hate to admit i like

Personally, I long ago realized that there is no reason to feel self-conscious about liking a certain television show. Taste is taste is taste. Different people enjoy different shows.

That said, I do always feel a little uncertain admitting that I have seen every episode of Dawson's Creek.

My biggest claim to shame was watching Sailor Moon with my son.

lol!! I had a friend who's 45 (at the time the show started) year old husband wouldn't miss it!! He also would get the music they played on the show and make her tapes of it!! He was a huge burly umpire too!

For me, it was the new Degrassi High show that played on "The N." For a while we used get digital cable, and during that time I started watching the new Degrassi High show. It was great...they actually featured characters that were regulars years ago on the original Degrassi, and many whole new characters too! After covertly watching for a while, I was hooked. When anybody in my house would saunter into the room, I'd flick the channel. Sometimes I'd even watch an entire episode in secret up in my bedroom. Eventually, we switched from digital cable to getting movie-channels instead. But still I remember those madcapped Degrassi days, lol. That was for sure the best show I never admitted to liking.
