I what season or episode did the long version theme song premire i thought iy would be in the season 2 dvd set.

As far as I know, the long opening credits were only used once the show had gone into syndication, i.e. once it had finished its original run. This also applies to the short credits used by Lifetime (I'm yet to see the short ones, as I live in the UK. Is there anyone who could do a quick capture of them from Lifetime for me, please? Would love to see which clips they cut out.).

During its original run, Golden Girls apparently started with the medium credits every time. Since the DVDs include the original, uncut episodes, I wouldn't hold out too much hope of getting the long theme tune. It's a shame, as I'd loved to have seen them properly.
