Watching the Pilot episode again, it got me thinking. What if in the series finale, they did it just like the Pilot. A new guy comes into the office and has to fire Dave. That guy would then become the News Director. It would be like a full circle, since Dave had to fire the News Director in the pilot episode before taking the job.

I doubt Jimmy would do that since he seemed to love Dave and he didn't really like Ed Harlo.

It would be a sad way to end the show, but sort of ironic. So what do you think - funny or just sad?

I think that would have been a great way to end the series. :lol: Yeah, it would have been sad to see Dave leave, but I'm sure it would have been funny too.
