One-year-old arrested

A one-year-old baby was arrested and spent the night in prison in Mexico.

The baby was arrested in Puerto Progresso when his father, Roger Sagundo was caught trying to steal six vodka bottles from a supermarket La Cuarta reports.

Mr Sagundo put the bottles on the baby trolley and tried to leave the supermarket, but was caught by security.

Police spokesperson said: "The policeman who got there first thought it was the right thing to do to list the baby as an accomplice, because the bottles were in his trolley."

"Father and son were sent to prison but only in the next morning the policeman on duty at prison realised the son was a baby."

Oh my lord..a one-year old? They are so insanse, and stupid! Seriously, like a baby would put a bottle of vodka in his trolley. Some people today have no common sense. They should put the policeman in prison for doing that. I'm sure in a year they'll try and arrest an unborn baby for doing nothing.

I have to wonder also. I tried a search thru Yahoo and came up totally empty. It's just those two U.K. sources only. You'd think it would be picked up somewhere else. My Yahoo homepage even has a special section with wacky stories like that but its not on it.

i significantly doubt that google goes out of their way to investigate every single news article they list to see whether or not it's true.
