FM was written/produced by some of the people who wrote/produced Happy Days, when they created Stefan, do you guys think they were trying to create a character similar to Fonzie on purpose, the characters on the show always treated him the same way the characers on HD treated Fonzie, the main difference was audiences loved Fonzie, but hated Stefan. What do you guys think?

I definitely think they went for that type of dynamic. And you're right, the big difference is that the audience responded to Fonzie and not to Stefan. It's not that Stefan was a bad character because in small doses, he wasn't. It's just that they did way too much with him. If anything it cheapened Steve's character and made Laura look like a complete gold-digger. Stefan proved to be an okay guy later on but for when she was chasing after him just for looks, it really irritated me. Then again, everything about Laura irritated me in the last three seasons or so.

I consider Stefan like Fonzie simply because they're ladie's man/love themselves and the characters on the shows loved them, I think that's very similar.

fonzie wasn't a jerk stefan was so big headded he had no admiral qualites
fonzie was very big hearted under that tough cool guy exterior stefan was too fake when they split personalities the heart went to steve.

Well that's reality buddy. Females go after guys who they find attracted and vice versa. No one wants to be with someone who they don;t find attractive.

I remember a geek party eps of HD where Fonzie acted like a nerd, I mean imagine if he acted like that in every other eps.
