The thing I don't understand about MGH, was that it had a Christmas ending, when the movie came out in July. :crazy: That's 5 months before X-Mas.

It was just a joke. That Grandpa tried to make the weather more suitable for them and ends up making it snow instead of rain. Rain isn't that good when you're riding in an open car. Snow, either, for that matter. (I'd bet the heater doesn't blow hard enough to get to Marilyn and Eddie in the back. Heck, I'll bet it doesn't even make it to Grandpa in the middle section...)

Well, besides the snow, the closing theme for MGH was a bit Christmassy. Which made me think that they tried make MGH an X-Mas movie.

I think the little musical quote from Jingle Bells, emphasized the joke. Making sure that even kids would get it.
