The Summer Schedule for ME-TV looks Great and
it is good to see Archie Bunker's Place on
ME TV at 8:30 pm.

I'm glad some local network picked up ABP! I'm from the Cleveland area and they never show it! I have all the episodes from TV Land and someone taped the rest from when it aired in Philadelphia. ABP is a great show, better than anything today. Look at todays sitcoms, only 4 in the top 40. The fact Archie was on 13 seasons and still had over half its audience is great; besides it still had 30 million people in its last season, and in todays ratings that's astounding. People tend to rip apart the last season in particular, and I still liked them with Rabinowitz. Some of the best that year were The Promotion, Barney Gets Laid Off, Father Christmas, Bunker Madnessand Three Women. More networks should pick it up, and eventually should come out on DVD after they complete the AITF set.

I forgot, The Eyewitnesses was also a funny one. The only bad one from the last season was Jose's paintings of garbage, and they held a gallery of them at the bar with Archie getting a little of the profits on account he was letting them be shown at his bar. Other than that one, the rest were good to very good.

Anyone recording ABP on Me-Tv in Chicago ????

I hope the Chicago staion plays ABP so the people who haven't seen it and want to can enjoy it. In my opinion, ABP is number 1 on my list of favorite tv shows.

Unfortunately, they nixed ABP in favor of another ep. of AITF. But they nixed that half hour for Caroll Burnett.
