Wow! I didn't know that since FOL was last seen on the Hallmark Channel, Speaking of ME-TV The-N would also add FOL on there too!

Thanks for the schedule info, Harper49! It's kind of ironic that Me-TV's sister station, WCIU Ch. 26 has Diff'rent Strokes. So we'll be seeing both shows as Diff'rent Strokes airs on Saturdays and Facts of Life will now air during the weekdays! Next thing you'll know that somewhere in the future Silver Spoons might pop up.

I know I'm also a TV closing logo fan (and it's a little off topic), there might be possibilites that the Embassy Television logo might pop up on a few closing eps., seeing as when FoL last aired on the Hallmark Channel and N@N that some eps. had the logos on them.

BTW, it's also good to see Punky and What's Happening!!! back on Me-TV as well!!!

What is ME-TV? Is it a local station in chicago or what? I will be in Chicago for a week in September so I hope my hotel has that station. I wonder if I can take my VCR with me and record some of the episodes?

ME-TV (23) is a local channel in Chicago, but you don't get it if you have cable. You need to have an antenna.

Unplug the cable, plug in an antenna, and turn it to channel 23 and bam, you get this channel.

The channel is great, classic shows, no time compression, no logos splashed all over the shows, just the shows as we remember.

Yep. Eps. from 1982-86/87? I think.

Like on Diff'rent Strokes and Who's the Boss?, this logo will be tough to find as Sony plastered itself over Embassy Television and most other old Columbia logos, but they still pop up from time to time.

Good question, because if people outside of Chicago can get this channel on Direct TV, I will get Direct TV just to see FOL!

"The Facts of Life" is too old for The N. They rather stay current to relate more with the teenagers of today. I'm surprised they still air some classic Nickelodeon shows.

I would think one of the main reasons behind this is because they own the rights to them, so it should be pretty cheap to air.

And plus, with the age group of the people that watch The N, the old Nickelodeon shows are like our own personal N@N. It makes us feel old.

But... The-N Is better!

I have to agree with Harper49 on this one. The-N is not too old for anything. Heck, they even aired The Brady Bunch for practically a month last year. If they can go as far as that, than they certainely get away with The Facts of Life if they wanted to.

The-N would EVEN get The Facts Of Life soon. But I'd say that Daria aired for practically several years it should take it off soon.

Will Me-TV keep FoL as of Sept. 12??? I hope they do, b/c they still have long ways to go until season 7. Right now, they're on S4, when Embassy TV was an in-credit logo at the end of the closing credits.

I missed the start of it on MeTV. Did they start with the first episode?

I live in the Chicago area and I envy those who get a better signal than I do and those who have direct tv or that cable station mentioned. I pay attention to the logos too and I belong to a yahoo group called CLG or the Closing logo group incase no one has heard of it.

I live in the Chicago area too, but my parents stopped having Comcast digital before Me tv started to be on there. They just have regular Comcast Digital now. It was also on Direct Tv. I do not have cable in my room, but I can get it on broadcast. It is snowy though. I can tell sony owns the rights to it when I see the Sony Pictures Televsion logo. It used to have Embassy Televison.

SO AM I TO UNDERSTAND THAT YOUR HOUSE DOES HAVE COMCAST, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE IT IN YOUR ROOM? IF YOU CAN WATCH IN IN ANOTHER ROOM, IT SHOULD STILL BE ON COMCAST CHANNEL 223 AT 3:00 PM, SHOULDNT' IT? ALSO, IF YOU ARE TRYING TO WATCH THE LOCAL ME-TV, CHANNEL 23, THEN MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN ANTENNA PLUGGED INTO YOUR OWN TV. YOU CAN GET A PORTABLE BUNNY EAR ANTENNA HOOKED UP TO YOUR TV, OR FOR EVEN MORE POWERFUL RECEPTION, AN ANTENNA THAT GETS PLUGGED INTO AN OUTLET. THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD, ANYWAY. Actually, a few selct eps. do actually have Embassy Televison logo intact.

I'm glad I'm close enough to Chicago that I can get 23 over the air. I have it on most days and at least watch a couple shows on it. A few of my favorites they show are Green Acres, A-Team, Brady Bunch and Hawaii 5-0. Also, they show no bugs (logos) in the corner, don't show any onscreen ads during the show (like most channels do now) and show the end credits completely intact with no voiceovers or split screen/shrinking. They do show the syndicated cuts though, not the original episodes (as far as I know)

Or if you're a "logo lover" like myself, on some shows the original logos or syndicated distribution logos are plastered over.
