Could you maybe remember the episode title or maybe a scene where he drops his cigar.

he did it when he went into shock. usually when herman did something. or when he saw something and instead of panicking, the cigar ricocsheted off his shirt onto his lap. he MAY have done it in "Rock-A-Bye Munster" since it is surprising when herman tells grampa that lily may be expecting. But I really cant remember.

Since I can't remember what episode he does that in, and since you can't remember what episode it's in, I wonder if you just thought this in your head. I'm not doubting you that you remember this, but I'm just saying that you might have dreamt it.

The only thing that comes close is in Munster the Magnificient where Grandpa spilled coffee on himself. And it ran down his suit, onto his pants.

no it wasnt a dream. it occured in a few episodes. i am 100 percent sure. i'd stake my life on it.

I finally found a scene where Grandpa does it! It's in episode 52, The Treasure of Mockingbird Heights.

No wonder I didn't remember it, I haven't watched that episode in a good while. I haven't watched much of my Season 2 tapes, I pretty much watch my Season 1 DVD.

i can understand that. its funny, sometimes i have the memory of an elephant, and sometimes i have the memory span of the average fruit fly. :lol:
