Earlier tonight, the power went out which cause a corruption in my hard drive SO needless to say, we had to re-format [I lost everything :cuss:]. Well, Im slowly changing the appearances and such, but forget how to do a couple things. How do I disable the Messenger Service popups? Theyre reaaaaally annoying. I think there was another question I had, but I forgot -.-

You could've easily just disable the Windows Messenger service.

You could've easily just disable the Windows Messenger service.
for someone not familiar with the Computer Management or Services Consoles, Steve Gibson's tool is a quick and painless way to turn the service on or off (and verify that it is disabled in plain english).

Is there another way to do this? That download always stays @ 99% and never finishes.
