Anyone here seen John's last movie,'Manhood'? I must say, he really plays a different role compared to his many other roles that he has played in the past. Just rented it the other day from Blockbuster, and it definately gets a :thumbsup: :jack .

I've heard about it, and I've seen a trailer for it on a website. It sounds pretty dramatic, but John always does either comedy or drama. I wish I could see it though, but I think it's rated 'R'.

Any info on the movie though?

What's the movie about?
Basically, he plays a husband who is seperated from his wife,(played by Janeane Garofalo) (but keeps insisting that he wants to get back with her from all of his ongoing mistakes that he keeps making). His brother in law(played by Nestor Carbonell), is a former womanizer, who finally gets his life straighten out after his sister(played by Janeane Garofalo) dumps her son on her brother(Nestor Carbonell) so she can find herself. If you rent this dvd, there is also in the 'bonus' section where the director speaks throughout the entire film on how it was made and why he picked the actors that he wanted to play in this film. Also, was stated that this was John's last movie before( I'm assuming, correct me if I'm wrong) he did the second season of '8SR'. as alos he was working on a play at night. I'm not sure which play it was, but I'm(myself am assuming) it was 'The Dinner Party' with Henry Winkler. But I cannot say for sure. But all in all John gives an outstanding performance as he always has done in the past.:jack: :thumbsup:
