This is really annoying. And also you dont even get 2 episodes like you used to. And no marathon on TVLAND. So Wings is gone from site.

LOL, actually John Ritter once called Nick@Nite, Dick@Nite on Conan O'Brien's Show because of you know what happened with a viewer with a certain Three's Company episode.

N@N SUCKS! They only brought Wings back because of Thomas Haden Church's popularity. I'm glad it was back, but I hate being jerked around like this :livid:

What I don't get is Wings is one of the most wanted unreleased shows at tvshowsondvd.com, but yet the ratings are "supposedly" bad on N@N? That just baffles me.

LOL, actually John Ritter once called Nick@Nite, Dick@Nite on Conan O'Brien's Show because of you know what happened with a viewer with a certain Three's Company episode.

"Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't." Said John Ritter, referring to N@N having two versions of that episode.

I loved that episode of "Conan". John Ritter was great in the episode. I loved how John and Dana Carvey (the other guest) kept talking to eachother in the background when the third guest (Ted Nuggent, I believe) was doing his cooking bit. It was that episode where John annouced that "8 Simple Rules" had just been renewed for a second season. When he died, I kept thinking of that Conan episode. I had it on tape somewhere, but I can't find it. I hope I didn't accidentally tape over it.

As for "Wings", it sucks. But for me, I haven't been watching it on N@N for a long time. However, I care about the fans. And that sucks for them.

And to McFly, that's happened to me before. I've started taping shows before and they never finish the cycle before cancelling it. In fact, "Wings" on USA was one of the shows I was taping when it went off.

And the thing is, you can only vote once on that site. So it's not like a couple people, taking hours voting over and over again.

3 things.

First, "Wings" has moved from 6th to 7th on the list at tvshowsondvd.com

Second, I have checked tv.yahoo.com (http://tv.yahoo.com/tvpdb?d=tvp&cf=up&sspid=1807776554&title=Wings&) and my own cable guide, and they have episodes going out through June 2nd. Since they only give a week or so at a time, this sounds normal.

Third, where did this news come from? I have checked other places besides the ones I mentioned in #2, and cannot find anything that corroborates what you said.

TV listings like tv.yahoo.com and tvguide.com can not keep up with Nick@Nite. They should have it updated tomorrow.

Well, we'll find out soon, because my TV set says Nick2 is scheduled to show "Ladies Who Lunch" in about 20 minutes from now.

Well for what it is worth the 5/23 airing of "Ladies Who Lunch" did air. I looked ahead on my TiVo and episodes are still showing all the way out to June 6.

Anyone who hasn't voted for Wings at tvshowsondvd.com please do so, we just got passed by Facts of Life  :(

I'm confused. The initial post said that the airings on 5/22 were the last, but Ladies Who Lunch was a 5/23 airing.

What gives?

Nick@Nite counts last night's airing as 5/22, since their day runs 9pm-6am, so anything after 12am they still consider 5/22.

Gotcha.

Regardless -- this stinks. Besides the fact that I'm pissed they're taking Wings off the air AGAIN, this means I am doomed never to see "Planes, Trains and Visiting Cranes."

I'm beyond pissed, I'm so mad I could spit fire  Why did they even bring it back again just to drop the show, do they like to torment us, is that how they get their jollies?

I guess they want to be known as the network that airs shows that air on 3 or 4 networks already and are already overplayed

Just in: TV Land will start airing Wings every night at 4:00am ET/PT starting the night of Monday, July 25 (early July 26). See General Sitcoms board for details.

And if you don't know already, episodes 1 and 2 of Wings will air on TV Land from 3 to 4 am ET/PT on Sunday, June 26 (early June 27) as part of the 20th Anniversary Weekend of Nick@Nite, on TV Land.

At the risk of sounding totally clueless here, what happened with a viewer about a T'sC ep?

I vow that SOMEDAY! I will get to see Planes, Trains and Visiting Cranes.

Anyway, thanks as always for the updates. And yes, my DVR did try to record Who's The Boss. I stopped it just in time. I don't want that crap polluting my DVR box.

I hope they make the change visible soon because I really don't want my DVR to keep trying to record that godawful show and wasting space.

At the risk of sounding totally clueless here, what happened with a viewer about a T'sC ep?

After taping an episode and viewing it over and over again, using the pause button, they found a scene where a part of John Ritter's body is visible. It's quick and not really noticable unless you really look for it. As far as I know, N@N quit showing that episode. Although John Ritter used to say that N@N aired two versions. One with it, and one where the scene was cut out. As he said "Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't." He always had a good sense of humor about it.

Late July? Like I can go two months without my Wings. I've already worked out a tape trade with someone.

And TV Land will probly start them over again. Just once I'd like these dingbat program directors let the show run for a measley three months, so you can see the whole run.

John Ritter always had a good sense of humor about EVERYTHING, and never took himself too seriously. He's one of those entertainers who is still missed long after his passing.

Talking about John Ritter, I was watching my "NewsRadio" DVD. John was a guest star in one of the episodes. And on the Gag Reel, Dave Foley and John Ritter kiss eachother on the lips (as a joke). I just thought I'd mention that.

About "Wings", the then President of NBC, Warren Littlefield does commentary for an episode of "NewsRadio". He was saying how "NewsRadio" had a great timeslot, right between "Wings" and "Frasier". So at least Warren remembered "Wings" as a popular show. I know that NBC now pretends like it never exsisted.

Its foolish for NBC to pretend it didn't exist... i bet it wish it was still on the air, now looking at their sitcom situation... its not that good... Wings getting acknowledgement is great...

I have been waiting forever to tape "The Boogey Men", that's where the guys go on a golfing weekend. This is one of the best episodes of wings and I have not seen it in years. But NO - with the show scheduled for this week, nick goes ahead and cancels it.....ughhhh!!

So does this mean "Wings" is doing okay enough to come back (ratings-wise), or is it more of a thing where they have the rights to the show, so they're airing it since they don't have anything else?

It keeps coming and going, I don't know what N@N thinks of the show.

According to tv-now.com (http://www.tv-now.com/stars/timdaly.html), the episodes they're planning to show are completely out of order.

This is just too weird.

Interestingly enough, N@N didn't skip ahead...They're showing episode #39, The Bogey Man RIGHT NOW.

Their online schedule now has Stew in a Stew listed for tomorrow.

I have no idea what's going on at this point.
