Hi I'm new to this board, I've been watching Murphy Brown for sometime now on Nick@Nite and I think it's a great show, I don't know why I never paid attention to it when it was originally on but I'm just glad I'm enjoying it now. I had never even heard of it before so it really does Feel Like The First Time. I just have one question, why did it end and how did it do in the ratings it's last season?

Murphy ran for 10 years, so it had a fulfilling run. It ended in 1998 when everyone collectively agreed it'd run it's course. It was a top 10 hit for 3 or 4 seasons in the early 90's, but the ratings were plunging by 97-98.
