Does anyone know if there actually was another actor who was either slated to play the Benson character an turned it down or may have done the pilot?

I heard this in a conversation a while back and was trying to confirm it.

I think Robert Guillaume was the only actor, but I could be wrong. Hopefully someone here can help you out. :)

The question was if there was another actor who was slated to play the part, and I wish I knew the answer myself. But you are right, Lejon, I do think I have heard something about that myself. Hopefully someone can give us an answer. Great question though, and welcome! :wave:

You know I throught of that as well Maybe The Guy was talking about Saunders The Guy who was Hired to Replace Benson when Robert Guillaume Left to do The Spin-off Benson
