I always found it funny that George was sacred to speak at Harlem to a group of young boys and he was from Harlem-lol Not only that but I think his mother lived in Harlem so that's even more reason to not be afraid of going back to visit Harlem. He always had that "I take no crap from no one" attitude but was scared of the Ghetto. Confusing.

Confusing.I think it was because he fought his way out and he didn't want to be near the place where he was poor.

I can understand that too. I used to live in the Bad section of Philly and now live in the nice section an rarely go to my neighborhood. But If I was ever asked to go back there to speak to a group of youths I wouldn;t be scared like I never been there before-lol

I think George became spoiled. The money and success got to his head. We never saw George visit his mother. She always visited him.

That's a good point Brian. Old as she was he should have taken a cab to see her rather than the other way around.

At least buy her an apartment close to him. It didn't make sense that she still lived in Harlem. Everytime she visited, she always had on alot of jewelry and fancy clothes. Don't you think George would worry that his mother would get robbed?

Well I'm glad that the producers never thought of the idea of George moving his mom in with him because I really would have stopped watching the show-lol

I actually liked Mother Jefferson. She was a good foil to Louise.
