Bewitched, The Beverly Hillbillies, Gilligan's Island, I Love Lucy, have all had some B&W episodes colorized. How come no one tries to colorize The Munsters?

And why choose to colorize black and white episodes of shows that later went into color seasons while ignoring the shows that never had any (The Munsters, The Addams Family, Dick Van Dyke).

On a sidenote, I would also love to see all 60 eps of Car 54, Where Are You? colorized.

Okay, here's my two cents on colorization of The Munsters: For me it would probably wreck the show. If the colors weren't what I've seen before, (in pictures and MGH,) I couldn't watch it without constantly being distracted by the wrong colors. Especially, because everybody seems to think they're lime green. I don't care how many times they were referred to as green, they weren't. They may have had a green palor, but they aren't green like people think. I'm afraid those same people would be the ones colorizing.

In this picture I believe they were trying to make them a greenish-black & white. I color corrected it so the fleshtone was more true.

In the Stephen Cox book, the makeup was described as battleship grey with a yellow-green makeup added. In color photos I seen, they are blue/grey at times, though. In Munster Go Home, Herman was a lime-green, while Lily, Grandpa and Eddie were blue. Makes sense since Herman is a Dr. Frankenstein creation, while the rest of the family are vampires and werewolves.
That photo was used for the View-Master. They are blue in that picture.

I think the b/w is one of the best things about the show!
