I was watching Rock-A-Bye Munster a few days ago and I remembered that the last two doors on the Koach were yellow. Today, I pulled out an old VHS of Herman's Sorority Caper, and I noticed in the beginning of that episode after Herman says "Contact!" and Grandpa climbs in the Koach, the last two doors are black, not yellow. But, in Munster, Go Home!, the last two doors of the Koach are yellow again.
Did they use two Koaches for the series, and then switch back to the first Koach for Munster, Go Home!?

There was only one Koach used in the filming of the show. (The second Barris Koach was made in 1985.) The rear doors appear to have some form of applicae' (sp) that obviously can be removed. Look at the picture HERE (http://www.MunsterKoach.com/COTS.htm). This is the most recent picture I have of the original Koach. It shows the puffiness of the rear door appliance.
In "Hot Rod Herman" (when Herman is blowing into the intake pipe,) one of the pipes isn't a shiny as the rest of them. I think the preivious episode, "Herman's Happy Valley", shows it as being missing altogether. The things you notice after you start looking... :D

Wasn't Hot Rod Herman the 37th episode filmed, but aired as the 36th episode?

Could be. Who really knows for sure? It was 40 years ago... :D
